About an 8-minute bus ride from Sakaihigashi Station, you’ll find “Kofun-mae Café IROHA” right in front of Sakai City’s symbol park, Daisen Park. Look for the sign with an illustration of a kofun (ancient tomb) along the road.

Inside the café, you’ll find many kofun-themed items such as cushions, trays, and plates. They also sell vegetables and fruits sourced from local farmers and orchards in Sakai City. The café is a beloved spot for both tourists and locals to relax.

When you order a drink on its own, you also get a delightful handmade treat.

Take the bus from Sakai-Higashi Station and get off at “Daisen Nakamachi,” then walk about 2 minutes. “Gokujou Fuwatoro Warabi Mochi Haniwarado” is a specialty store for original warabi mochi.

Eat-in is available from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. They also sell original Haniwa goods such as plush toys and keychains designed by the staff.
